In this video I am going to be sharing the top 5 dividend stocks I am buying right now as we are likely entering a recession. Earlier this year, I started a new series on my channel where I am building a $100,000 dividend stock portfolio.

So I am going to do a full update on that portfolio and show you exactly what I am buying as well as what my top 5 stock picks are!

I like your videos, but GE is garbage. It will take a long time to recover! Nothing about OKE?

Also something that is noteworthy. A lot of bigger construction companies have accounts with places such as Lowe's, Home Depot and Ace hardware. Which helps a bunch in that aspect of the stock. With the economy being held up by construction jobs and food services, it makes sense that those places would hold out. I worked in construction for a few years. It was always heading to Lowe's or home Depot for tools and supplies with the company card

Core-mark. They are the 2nd largest c-store supplier and i think they can weather a recession just fine. Blizzard-activision. And Hasbro.

Another awesome vid and thank you so much. There's so much in this vid that helps; stuff you probably don't realize. Example: your confidence and calmness while stocks are down, reminds me that I don't have to think about swan diving off a bridge when I'm down 4% lol. And I'm not even down at all at the moment. This teaches me to calm the F down and take some risks lol

I do own a small Walgreens position, but some think that CVS is a better buy long-term, but I am not sure. I do like the utility investment you made. I think Boeing will also bounce back. I am not into airlines. I do like that you have Microsoft.

MFA, Airbus, Lockheed Martin, Kratos, Remy, Footway pref, Np3 pref, Intel, Aspen Aerogel, Svenska Aerogel, Altia, Campari, Rick and a few more. From pure speculation with the risk of loosing everything to solid companies some of which will surely double in a not so distant future. Looking att the figures today the loss due to corona is -8.74% and with summer coming and corona gone I thinkt it will recover within a few weeks.

See a similar theme here with a lot of youtubers building these dividend portfolios in companies that have stagnating or declining earnings and overall probably losing market share, I don't think the worst is over yet and many people will get stuck being bag holders in companies they thought were great because of a high yield % only to find their initial investment has been diluted and their yield on cost down, Usually when everyone is saying the same thing it ends up quite bad (for the majority).

Awesome video Ryan as always, I'm focusing more on growth stocks right now particularly category disrupters, so I only have about 20% of my portfolio in dividend stocks. So personally for me I have been doubling my position in Tesla throughout the recession, I see them being in the 3-5K range in 5-10 years.. stock market is the only place where a stock people always wanted goes on a steep discount, and people go running away lol.. you got to remember guys whether you get a stock at an extra 5-15% discount is not going to matter in 3-5 years when its 2X or 3X'd its value 💪🤑🔥

I just don’t understand dividend stocks that yield anything under 4% as inflation erodes around a rate of 2%ish. Can someone explain how dividend stocks are worth it? The yields are just so small when compared to the growth of say Tesla.
