This is like an informercial . I don`t think i would trust a review where the person "may" earn a commission for reviewing an app .Take note, there was not one thing he did not like about the app . We all know not every app is perfect .

Ryan, what a great review of Truebill. This is interesting. I'm working with a company that has a new app coming out hopefully in June maybe July. Since this is such a great review, I was wondering if you'd do an honest review of this new app as well? I can send a pre-register link if you're interested in doing a review. Thanks!

Do you sign up with your SS# then the app find alllll your bills? Or is it up to you find/search for your bills to link? This is giving me the impression that the app finds every bill you have on its own

Pretty interesting video however in my opinion maybe you could have started it off with a statement like here are restrictions the following banks will and will not sync with this app PayPal or zelle will not sync with this app that sort of stuff even on company websites many times has a lot of stuff to whittle through before you get down to the things I'm referring to only to find out oh crap that won't work with my Institution

As someone that has tried the premium version of this app let me put some things in here that were not mentioned in this video you might want to consider before using.
With premium service it is listed you'll get access to concierges that will categorize and set up your monthly recurring expenses, bills and utilities. That's a big nope, you'll do that yourself or it won't happen. There's not even an option in the app to ask them to do it when you notice it didn't get done automatically upon payment of your premium service.
Also it is stated you'll get access to instant support via chat if you're a premium user, no you will not. You'll get a chat system, you'll type your question or concern then be told it'll be at least "a day" before someone will reply. There is no instant chat support with this app, no support number to call and no live person to assist you in any way at the time you need the help.
One of the biggest things I wanted an app for was to remind me when a recurring payment was coming up, or even alert me on its due date. I went through and set ALL of the notifications to on, set up an email, phone number and made sure the phone itself was allowing banners, notifications, pushes, etc… in ignorance (and from the friend that referred this app) I stopped using my excel sheet and dry erase board I previously used to jot down reminders, and relied solely on this app to alert me. Two cut off notices later (Gas and Electric), I have decided this feature most certainly is not working. I checked spam, notifications on my phones lock screen, and found no notifications at all about any bills. Some of them I have paid so long, or are on auto-pay and didn't give much attention to the lack of notification at that time. But the feature doesn't work as promised.
There are numerous miscategorizing issues that will come up, and it will definitely put your custom budgets out of whack if you don't meticulously comb through the transactions list at least weekly (maybe more if you're a frequent spender).

I'm sure there are good features to the app, I don't use those I guess. Not to shoot down Ryan's whole vid and effort here, but this was obviously an endorsement video and not a balanced review.

The 2 biggest things I feel you didnt cover was security and privacy. How secure is your information, and if their servers get hacked – what kind of compensation do they offer? As for privacy, do they sell, share or use your information in ANY way? Specifically what I am looking for is immediate notifications on every purchase/withdrawal for security reasons. Does this app do this? Thx in advance.

This video was great! I think you should do another one explaining the process of how Truebill will negotiate lower payments and late fees, and what types of expenses it may work for.
