At least two tornadoes have been confirmed in Texas, with the National Weather Service confirming a tornado in Bee County and another in San Patricio County. Both tornadoes touched down shortly after 5 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6th.

The Bee County tornado, which was given an EF2 rating on the Enhanced Fujita Scale, had estimated peak wind speeds of up to 125 mph and was approximately two miles wide. The San Patricio County tornado, which was given an EF1 rating on the Enhanced Fujita Scale, had estimated peak wind speeds of up to 95 mph and was approximately one mile wide.

Fortunately, there were no reported injuries or fatalities as a result of either tornado. However, there was significant property damage reported, including damage to homes, businesses, and vehicles.

The National Weather Service is warning Texans to remain vigilant and to be aware of any changes in the weather. They have asked residents to have an emergency plan in place and to heed any warnings that may come from their local authorities.
