For many people around the world, this week began with rain. Across much of the United States, Europe, and Asia, it was a soggy start to the work week. The wet weather isn’t expected to last for long though, as most areas are expected to dry up by the middle of the week.

The rain wasn’t the only thing causing a stir, as temperatures also dropped in many regions. Areas in the United States such as the Midwest, Northeast, and Pacific Northwest saw temperatures dip into the low 60s, while much of Europe experienced a chilly start to the week with temperatures below 50 degrees.

The wet and chilly conditions have prompted many people to bundle up and stay inside as much as possible. Despite the unfavorable weather, people still have to go to work, school, and other activities. For those who do venture out, umbrellas and rain jackets are essential as the wet weather is likely to stick around for a few days.
