Shouldn't be hard to get a company card to cover expenses. I wouldn't think so anyway.

50:00 I don't understand how the VA loans are more expensive..??? I used it and my interest rate was 3.25% and I did not have any fees. I'm not sure where he's getting his information from.

The clinical psychologist….pretty sure she meant phd doctor, not medical doctor. She really seemed to bristle at the question lol. She made a mistake to rack up that much debt for a phd.

I live in NYC and had my grandmother cremated for $500. My uncle paid $1000 for his cremation plan. Go to the hospital. The hospital case worker might know a good funeral home for low income people. The funeral home usually picks up the body. There is a social security death benefit for $255. If he received any social security, he could still have money in a bank account from direct deposit. If he worked, he might of had an insurance policy provided by the employer. A round trip plane ticket to NYC costs, at most, $500. He probably has a one month deposit on the apartment. You can stay there, clean out his stuff, and have Good Will or Catholic Charities pick up what you can donate. And yes, you have to move it, get everything done ASAP, and go back home. Your best advice is to get an orientation from the hospital case worker!! The hospital case worker was the one who helped me know what to do when my grandmother died.

I am getting ahead of myself. I am already thinking of the debt snowball and creating sinking funds, and I haven't even gotten my $1,000 emergency fund in place yet.
I am trying to use the everdollar app, but it is hard to navigate on my android.
